A Cat Trying to Understand Quantum physics
A Cat Trying to Understand Quantum physics
Ah, the life of an architect! Picture this: you're sitting there, proudly gazing at your meticulously crafted design, convinced it's the next architectural masterpiece.
But then, reality hits—your client stares at it like a cat trying to understand quantum physics.
And that's when you realize, as stunning as it looks on paper, after years of design experience, your client like you may not have the architectural X-ray vision needed to see the brilliance you see.
This, my friends, is the ultimate dilemma of a design architect. Because, let’s face it, unless your client has secretly been moonlighting as an architect themselves, they might look at your plans and see... well, a lot of lines and rectangles.
It’s like handing a three-year-old an encyclopedia and expecting them to enjoy it, instead of just switching you tube on and showing Bob the Builder.
So, what's an architect to do? Besides being a genius at design (which is already a rare superpower), the trick is to also become a magician at simplifying and telling a story of your final vision in a way that even the most architecturally-challenged client can digest.
Ah, the delicate dance of design & presentation! If a designer can juggle both creativity and vision without dropping the ball, well, that's when the magic happens, clients resonate and fees get paid…so you can go do your month end shopping..
In a nutshell, a hybrid architect needs to wear two hats—one for design & crafting mind-blowing buildings, and the other to simplify the visuals into something clients can actually wrap their heads around.
